This is a personal post i would like to share, I have been so busy that i haven’t been able to get to editing my personal photos properly yet and right now South Africa is on complete lockdown due Covid-19 so i am finally able to catch up on all of these things. The last couple of weeks have been humbling, with everything happing in the world right now it has reminded us that health and family come first.
Last year we travelled to Zanzibar for a week holiday, we stayed at Sandies Boabab located on the famous white beach of Nungwi, on the northern tip of Zanzibar. The structure takes its name from the majestic, century old Baobabs, found dotted around the Resort compound, making it a unique tropical oasis immersed in nature. We celebrated my 30th birthday and our 6th wedding anniversary. We were suppose to be in Zanzibar on honeymoon but our travel agent went bankrupt just before, we finally made it though and got to share it with our daughter, Riley. Zanzibar did not disappoint, its rich in culture, history and that turquoise water and white sand make it feel magical, a real island holiday.
For all those parents that feel that your children are too young for a holiday like this, do it, make memories and take lots of photos, print a album and do it all over again. A big thank you to Bianca and Brendan for taking our family photos, we are forever grateful.
Breathtaking my friend
